this game is for 2 players, do the two players are in splitscreen, like a line in the middle and one player up, and one player down, or the two players are in the whole screen?

We need help:
We started one game on Army of Two with two players and got about half way through the game. I was Rios and she was Salem
Then my friend wanted to play solo so she started a new game in a new slot (as Salem)
When she began all the money she collected in her new solo game also transfered to Salem in OUR co-op game. But when we went to play our co-op game again the next day, I (Rios) lost EVERYTHING. All my stats and my money
There is no life bar. When you take too many hits, your screen gets covered in blood and turns red signaling that you’re dying. The only way to recover is to get into cover, not get hit and your player will slowly heal.
