The author gives a good summary and comprehensive history of video games. In parallel to what is involved in the drafting of a party. Gives you an appreciation of the efforts and concerns. You must choose a platform game to write. Perhaps one of the consoles made by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft? Or perhaps for the personal computer or cell phone? It is a fundamental choice, which largely determines the language and computer resources available for your proposed game. It also defines the economic aspects as the size of your potential audience may be.
